VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A Dancing with the Stars-style event is being held in Virginia Beach that aims to help out homeless pets.
"Dancing For Paws" will be held on Saturday, June 10 at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk. Professional and celebrity dancers will show off their moves, all for the benefit of the Virginia Beach SPCA.
You may recognize some of the contestants: they include 13News Now reporter Arrianee LeBeau and retired 13News Now reporter Joe Flanagan!
Eight trophies will be awarded: Best Male and Best Female – Beginner, Best Male and Female – Experienced for both Ballroom and Latin Categories.
And since it’s all about the animals, the Virginia Beach SPCA will have adoptable cats and dogs at the event and involved in the show!
Tickets are $35 and the front four rows (premium seats) are $45. Tickets are available for purchase online at vbspca.com or in-person at The Scope and Chrysler Hall Box Office. The Box Office does NOT charge standard Ticketmaster fees.
Military and student discounts available at that box office for $25 with valid ID.
