SUFFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Suffolk Division of Tourism and Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts is offering people the opportunity to enjoy Disney's Beauty and the Beast for free.
The live-action interpretation of Disney's 1991 animated classic stars Dan Stevens as the young prince whom an enchantress turns into a beast. Emma Watson plays Belle who sees through the rough and hideous exterior of the Beast and finds the person hidden by it.
Other cast members of the musical include Emma Thompson, Ian McKellan, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Kline, and Stanley Tucci.
"Belle" will make a special appearance after the film and will be available for pictures with people. Children are welcome to wear Beauty and the Beast costumes to the screening. The film is rated PG and runs two hours and nine minutes.
The screening takes place at Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts on August 5 at 11 a.m.
