VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Stores across Hampton Roads are preparing for big Black Friday crowds.
13News Now checked in with the crew at Walmart Supercenter located on Nimmo Pkwy.
"Black Friday begins for us on Thanksgiving day," said Melissa Conway, the manager of the store.
Conway says around 300 employees will be working around the clock to prepare the merchandise and the store.
Among the most popular isles are the toys and electronics ones.
"My best advice for people is to get here early," she explained.
One of the hot ticket items this year- Hatchimals.
At Walmart, a limited amount of the toys is locked away for Black Friday shoppers.
