CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVEC) -- Two victims of a violent car attack that happened during an Alt-Right rally have filed a lawsuit against the driver, the rally organizers, and Alt-Right leaders.

According to the lawsuit, Tadrint and Micah Washington claim they were detoured on their way home when James Fields slammed his car into their car. Both women suffered serious injuries.

32-year-old Heather Heyer was killed when police say 20-year-old James Fields slammed his car into a crowd of counter-protesters during a white nationalist rally.

The two women at suing for $3 million, claims include assault and battery, civil conspiracy, and negligence.

Field's was denied bail Monday.
