HAMPTON, VA (WVEC) -- Politics is not necessarily a young person's game. Just ask Izora Prentice.

The 97-year-old is a volunteer for the Hillary Clinton campaign at the Hampton office--answering phones, doing whatever she can to help out.

"I volunteer whenever I can," says Prentice, who was born in 1919. "I work in my community because that's where it starts. Community makes us strong when we work together."

And she still remembers the first president she voted for: Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

It goes to show we're never too old to make a difference.
