NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) Petting zoo, bubble soccer, prizes and food- just some of the free fun the public is invited to have during the The Salvation Army's annual Kroctoberfest.

The carnival style community festival will take place on October 22nd, 2016 from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Activities include a petting zoo, bubble soccer, rock wall climbing, swimming, photo stations, concessions, bounce houses, games, prizes and various vendors from other organizations.

You do not need to be a member to attend the event. For all those looking to become members, the joining fee will be waived that day.

The Kroc Center is located in the Broad Creek neighborhood of Norfolk and has been open since April 2014.
