HAMPTON, Va. — UPDATE: Hampton Police say two missing girls have been found and both are safe.
The Hampton Police Division said 13-year-old Keasia Tamiya Cooper and 9-year-old Va’Nasia Cooper had run away from home on Thursday.
Police said both girls were considered endangered and they were especially worried about Va'Nasia, because she's too young to take care of herself. Police think the girls left their home on Lassiter Drive, just off Big Bethel Road, on foot.
Hampton Police tweeted Friday night that both girls were found safe, although no other information was given.
