YORK COUNTY, Va. (WVEC) -- Fire and Life safety crews battled a residential structure fire in York County Thursday night.

At 11 p.m., crews were dispatched to the 700 block of Schooner Boulevard where they found a two story residence englufed in flames.

Everyone in the home was able to safely get out. One person was treated for smoke inhalation on the scene, and no other injuries were reported.

The home adjacent to the fire encountered some heat damage.

As of 5:15 a.m., the fire was out, but units remained on the scene assisting with the investigation and conducting overhaul operations.

The Red Cross was notified and is assisting the displaced family.

The casue of the fire is still not known.
