NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- A Chicago man has been sentenced for prostituting a minor in the Tidewater region.

Juan Hollis, 23, in February of 2017 started prostituting a 19-year-old.

According to court documents, the pair recruited a 17-year-old that the 19-year-old previously knew. Hollis would post the minor's image on the internet and advertise for prostitution clients.

The Norfolk Police Department went undercover and targeted commercial sex. Through the operation they discovered the minor.

Hollis had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sex trafficking a child.

He has been sentenced to four years in prison.
