NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Norfolk police said they have arrested 37-year-old Curtis Leslie Harmon for his involvement in two armed commercial robberies.

Harmon is accused of robbing the Afro-Caribbean Grocery Store at gunpoint on Dec. 14, then robbing the Hardees at 7480 Tidewater Driver on Dec. 16.

According to police, during both incidents Harmon showed a handgun and demanded money from employees and then fled the area.

No injuries were reported in both cases.

Harmon has been positively identified and has been charged with:

  • Two counts of Robbery
  • Three Counts of Abduction
  • Three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
  • Wearing a mask in public
