PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WVEC) -- Portsmouth police are searching for two suspects involved in the armed robbery a Family Dollar on Tuesday.

Around 9:47 p.m., police say a 911 call came in reporting a robbery at the Family Dollar store located at 4231 Greenwood Drive.

Detectives say two male suspects entered the business, displayed handguns and demanded money from the store clerk. The clerk did what the suspects asked and the two males fled the scene.

No one was injured during the incident.
