NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that left one person dead and five others injured back in July.

32-year-old Demetrius McGregor is accused in the death of 25-year-old Maxie Mock.

Officers found Mock shot on Azalea Garden Road during a large party early on the morning of July 30. He died at the scene.

Five other people where hurt.

McGregor was arrested without incident in Norfolk on Friday. He is charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

McGregor is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
