NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Two 17-year-olds have been charged with murder in the death of a 19-year-old on Tuesday.
The two young men's identity will not be released due to their age.
The pair face charges for the homicide that took place on December 12 on Harrell Avenue. Around 2 p.m., first responders were called to the 2800 block for a gunshot disturbance.
When officials arrived they found 19-year-old Daquan Davis suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a hospital, but died shortly after.
The two teens are charged with one count each of second-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. They are currently being held in the Norfolk Juvenile Detention Center.
This is still an ongoing investigation, detectives have not released any motive for the fatal shooting.
