Watch: Robbers shoot at Pizza Hut driver in Montgomery County

The victim told deputies two people got out of the Tahoe and walked towards her, one with a handgun. She put her car in reverse and backed up as fast as she could to get away.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the suspects who shot at a Pizza Hut delivery driver while apparently trying to rob her on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident was captured on the victim’s dash camera.

The 22-year-old victim told deputies she went to a Magnolia home to a deliver a pizza, but the homeowner said he didn't ask for a pizza and then ordered her to leave the property.

The delivery driver left the home and was on Highland Boulevard when she saw a dark colored Chevrolet Tahoe driving toward her. The SUV then blocked the entire roadway.

She said two people got out of the Tahoe and walked towards her, one with a handgun. She put her car in reverse and backed up as fast as she could to get away. She said she heard one gunshot as she drove back into the neighborhood, parked and hid under a home.

The woman then called 911.

“Deputies recovered a shell casing from the scene. The Tahoe contained a least 3 occupants, two of the occupants exited from the passenger side wearing masks. From the video, the Tahoe’s license plate appeared to be covered with a piece of clothing,” stated MCSO.
