VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Scorched remnants appear to be all that's left of a daycare bus that caught fire Thursday afternoon.

The bus was used by Rosemont Forest Elementary.

The fire broke out around 3 p.m. No one was on board the bus at the time of the fire.

Emergency crews arrived and quickly worked to extinguish the fire. No one was injured.

According to Eileen Cox with Virginia Beach City Public Schools, staff members at the school had to adjust dismissal procedures due to the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
