NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Chrysler Hall made an announcement Monday that will have all Harry Potter fans screaming "Accio tickets!"
The Virginia Symphony Orchestra will be performing music from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone November 25, as a part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series.
The orchestra will perform every note of John Williams' amazing score while the audience relives the magic of the film, shown in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.
"The Harry Potter film series is a once-in-a-lifetime cultural phenomenon that continues to delight millions of fans around the world," said Justin Freer, President of CineConcerts and Producer/Conductor of the Harry Potter Film Series. "It is with great pleasure that we introduce for the first time ever and opportunity to experience the award-winning music scores played live by a symphony orchestras, all while the beloved film is simultaneously projected onto the big screen. It will be an unforgettable event."
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, August 11 on Ticketmaster.com. They will also be available for purchase in person at the Scope Arena Box Office and by calling (800) 745-3000.
