WASHINGTON (AP) - Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price resigns amid criticism of his travel on private planes.
According to a statement from the Press Secretary, Price resigned Friday and President Trump plans to designate Don J. Wright of Virginia to serve as Acting Secretary.
Wright, who currently serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health and Director of the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, will take over that role at 11:59 p.m. Friday night.
