NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Supporting people with developmental disabilities- that's what the Arc of Virginia strives to do every single day.

This year they are hosting their state conference in Norfolk.

The 2017 State Convention will provide attendees with latest information on federal and state issues affecting Virginians with developmental disabilities and their families and will include sessions on Waiver Redesign, Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus, Federal Policy Issues, Inclusive Education, Early Intervention and more.

The conference is scheduled for August 7-9 at The Main in Downtown Norfolk.
