The popular HBO series is returning Sunday, June 16 and people cannot wait!

With the premiere only days away, the freemium language-learning app Duolingo has introduced a new language to their line up: High Valyrian.

High Valyrian is a language similar to Latin. It was created by linguist David J. Peterson and is used by the nobility of Essos and Westeros in the series Game of Thrones. Peterson also created Dothraki, another language used in the show.

Peterson also helped work on the Duolingo course, which is now it its beta phase.

But what exactly is Duolingo?

Duolingo is a smartphone app that allows users to play various games and take lessons in order to learn a new language. In the past they have helped users learn Spanish, French, and even Russian.

As of Thursday evening, over 13.3 thousand people participated in the course. If you are interested in learn High Valyrian, or any new language, the app is available for both iPhone and Android devices. You can learn more about the app here.
