Liberty and Justice are proud parents once again!
The pair of bald eagles welcomed two eaglets in their nest 110 feet up an oak tree at the Metropolitan Police Academy in SE, Washington, DC. The baby birds hatched over St. Patrick's Day weekend.
According to the Earth Conservation Corps, the first eaglet to hatch, called ECC3, was laid on February 7. The second eaglet, ECC4 , was laid a few days later on February 11.
