VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) - If you haven't finished your holiday shopping yet, don't worry, businesses are preparing for a busy weekend.
The Lemon Cabana is a store off Laskin Road pretty much has it all.
"Clothing, jewelry, home decor and gifts. It's basically everything a woman wants," explained owner Julie Fancher Deese.
On Thursday, the store was still receiving shipments from clothing to jewelry for last minute shoppers.
Owner Julie Fancher Deese has been in business for years and says this is one of the busiest times of the year.
This year there's one extra day between Thanksgiving and Christmas, giving last minute buyers an extra 24 hours to spare.
Forbes Magazine said this will be the largest weekend of foot traffics out of the whole year for brick and mortar stores.
"We triple our staff over Christmas. Everyone wants to be here. That is what is great about having a local businesses because we all get to see our friends and it's like a party."
Some local shops offer a little extra to get customers back through the doors, for the Lemon Cabana, it's wrapping.
She said, "That's a service we have been offering and husbands and wives and its one less thing they have to do when they get home."
"We sincerely appreciate it. For the people that make the effort to come shop with us. We are honored and thankful,” Fancher Deese said.
