CHESAPEAKE, Va. — No injuries were reported following a late-night apartment fire in Chesapeake.
According to the Chesapeake Fire Department, the fire was reported in the 1300 block of Canal Drive around 10:46 p.m.
Crews were able to get the fire extinguished inside the two-story apartment building by 11:30.
Five adults and six children were displaced by the fire that damaged three apartments.
There were no injuries reported. The apartment management is assisting with lodging needs for the displaced families.
