CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- Base tolls on the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge are increasing by 10 cents per trip for drivers with a valid E-ZPass, officials said.
Drivers should expect to see the increase by Jan. 1, 2018.
E-ZPass users will pay $2.35 each way, according to SNJB's website.
Pay-by-plate motorists will be invoiced by mail for $5.10 per trip about a month after crossing the bridge.
Toll rates for multi-axle vehicles, including cars with trailers, start at $5 per trip and are dependent on the time of travel, officials said.
Peak hours are Monday-Friday 5:30- 9 a.m. and 2:30- 7 p.m.
Off-peak rates apply during all other weekday hours, weekends and select federal holidays.
