HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and two other people hurt Wednesday.
The shooting happened in the 400 block of Glendale Rd. shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Barbara White said she was getting ready to watch a movie when she heard gunshots.
"It sounded like we were in a war zone," said White. " I saw people being taken out on stretchers, so I knew something really bad had happened."
When officers arrived, they found three men shot. One of those men, 50-year-old Anthony Bell, died there.
The other two people -- a 38-year-old man and a 41-year-old -- are expected to survive.
Tomika Delotch was with the three men when they were hit.
"The people that got shot didn't bother nobody," said Delotch. "They were innocent people."
