NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- A fire on the Peninsula injured at least one person.
The Newport News Fire Department said the house fire broke out on Concord Crescent around 6 p.m. Saturday. Arriving firefighters found fire and smoke rising from the home.
Fire crews said one person was taken to the hospital, although the extent of injuries is not known.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
