NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- Police have arrested a teenager who they say was wanted in connection with more than a dozen crimes across Hampton Roads.

19-year-old Naontae Dashawn Lyttle was arrested on Tuesday following a traffic stop.

Lyttle is facing charges for the following crimes:

  • Newport News: 11 counts of grand larceny, 3 counts of conspiracy between September 18 and November 19, 2016
  • Hampton: 3 counts of grand larceny, 2 counts of burglary, 3 counts of conspiracy, 1 count of attempted burglary between November 8 and November 21, 2016
  • Virginia Beach: 1 count of grand larceny, 1 count of conspiracy, 1 count of possession of burglary tools.
  • York County: 2 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of credit card larceny, 1 count of gang participation.

Lyttle is currently being held at the Newport News City Jail, with more charges pending.

Hampton police have also charged a second suspect connected to numerous crimes Lyttle was allegedly involved in between the dates of November 8th and November 21st.

Kendell Elizah Wingfield

Kendell Elizah Wingfield faces charges of two counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary, two counts of grand larceny, one count of grand larceny auto, and five counts of conspiracy to commit a felony. Investigators say they are also looking for additional suspects connect to some of these crimes.

Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting "HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip" to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
