NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- A woman died after a pedestrian-auto accident Thursday night.
According to police, the incident occurred in the 16900 block of Warwick Boulevard around 10:15 p.m.
Police and medics responded to the scene, and the vehicle involved stayed on the scene.
The pedestrian, a 41-year-old Newport News Tonya Hall, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Warwick Boulevard between Picketts Line and Dozier Road was shut down while the accident was investigated.
No further information has been released.
