NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- The most restaurants EVER are participating in this summer's Downtown Norfolk Restaurant Week.
Twenty-five restaurants are participating from July 16 to 23, offering price-fixed lunches and dinners.
Depending on the restaurant, patrons can have multi-course dinners for $35 or $25, and lunch and brunch options for $12.
When the event first started only 7 restaurants participated.
“This is our 23rd Downtown Norfolk Restaurant Week, and we are thrilled that we have so many restaurants that have been with us since day one in addition to the new restaurants that have joined the roster this summer,” said Mary Miller, president and CEO of Downtown Norfolk Council.
Reservations are highly recommended for restaurant week.
"Downtown Restaurant Week is a perfect time to sample a few restaurants, see a show or do a little shopping. We want people to experience as much as they can while they are here,” Miller said.
