NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk City Council got a closer look Friday at how the transformation of the SCOPE plaza could materialize.
The presentation showed four designs — named Beat, Harmony, Melody and Rhythm — that would revitalize the current plaza and transform it into a "cultural heart of the region."
Norfolk's historic downtown and its planned future development were taken into account when the design concepts came together, according to presentation documents.
Here are the four designs:

The project would take between 2 years to 6 years depending on construction plans. The city will now need to choose a design.
Which design do you think works best with the SCOPE area?
