PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Portsmouth Police Department said it is investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car Tuesday night.
The crash happened near the intersection of Rodman Avenue and Portsmouth Blvd.
Officials said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police did not say anything about the circumstances surrounding the crash, but said they will share more information when it is available.
