SUFFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- The Stars and Stripes Spectacular just can't catch a break.
The second attempt at the Fourth of July celebration was held Friday night. It was originally scheduled for the July 4, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
The celebration was held at Constant's Wharf Park & Marina, located at 110 East Constance Road.
Visitors enjoyed entertainment, children's activities, vendors, and lots of food.
Fireworks were originally set to go off at 9 p.m. but were postponed by half an hour when storms moved through the area. The fireworks did go off, but had to end early due to the inclement weather.
Due to technical difficulties, the fireworks show ended early. Thank you to all who came out.— City of Suffolk (@CityofSuffolk) July 15, 2017
