UPDATE: Virginia Beach Police believe the same suspect may be involved in another robbery that occurred in Norfolk on November 8th.

ORIGINAL STORY: VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven in Virginia Beach on Saturday.

Police say the robbery took place at the store located at 325 Kellam Road at 3:42 p.m.

The male suspect entered the store and demanded money from the registers while displaying a handgun. He was last seen running north on Kellam Road.

Police describe the suspect as a black male with a medium complexion, 5'8" to 5'9", weighing 170-190 pounds and having light facial hair or a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a hood up over a dark knit hat, dark sweat pants or pajama pants with gray "pot leafs" on them and dark sneakers.
