CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- New court documents reveal a 16-year-old planned a massacre at Great Bridge High School.
Police started investigating last month after the Great Bridge High School student posted a picture on instagram of him holding guns.
Police officers obtained an Instagram conversation between the teen and one of his friends.
According to the documents, the teen wrote "I have a big plan in two years...it's going to be epic." He said he had plans for "the biggest massacre ever" and said it was going to be "so brutal."
Officers interviewed his friend who said the teen had a fascination with Nazis and recently started referencing the Columbine shooting.
Court documents reveal the teen was bullied. He told his friend that the "same people throw stuff at me all the time in school, it's annoying" and that it "happens every day."
Documents reveal the teen said that he "hated" a certain teacher and "wanted to see her die." He also said he wanted to shoot the kids who were mean to him.
When asked for comment, a spokesperson with Chesapeake Public Schools sent 13News Now this statement:
"The school has taken appropriate action; however, we do not comment on individual student discipline."
