PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. (WVEC) -- A disaster recovery center will open in Elizabeth City for three days to help survivors of Hurricane Matthew.

The joint FEMA and state operation will allow those affected by the storm to apply for disaster assistance and get answers to their recovery questions.

The center will be open Nov. 7-9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be located at 1209 McPherson Street in Elizabeth City.
