HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Firefighters found three homes with electrical issues Friday morning after reports of a smoke smell in the area.
Crews responded around 11 a.m. to the 0 block of Whitaker Avenue.
Electrical meters were pulled, but the houses still had power via a back feed.
Two of the three homes had fire damage. One was significantly damaged.
No injuries were reported.
The cause is under investigation.
