WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. (WVEC) -- The launch of the Orbital ATK Antares rocket scheduled for Sunday night has been postponed.

NASA Wallops Flight Facility reported on Facebook that the launch has been postponed 24 hours due to a ground support equipment cable that did not perform as expected during the pre-launch check-out.

The launch is now scheduled for Oct. 17 at 7:40 p.m.
