WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WVEC) -- A former professor at the College of William & Mary pleaded guilty to child pornography charges Wednesday.

46-year-old Michael D. Wilson, of Richmond, Va., worked at the school's Center for Conservation Biology. He was arrested in February on four felony counts of possession of child pornography.

Following his arrest, Wilson was placed on administrative leave and was prohibited from being on campus.

Wilson was indicted back in July. Court records show he pleaded guilty to all charges Nov. 2.

A sentencing date has been set for Jan. 4.
