WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WVEC) -- A DC man is coming home from a Busch Gardens vacation with an extra $1 million.
Jonathan Jones, who is from Washington, DC, was in Williamsburg with his family when he stopped at a nearby convenience store to play Powerball.
The ticket ended up matching the first five numbers to win the game's $1 million second prize.
Jones bought the winning ticket Terrace Grocery in Williamsburg for the July 22 drawing. He used Easy Pick, allowing the computer to randomly select the numbers on his ticket.
Jones says he works for a roofing company and has no immediate plans on how he will spend the winnings.
Terrace Grocery received a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery.
