WILLIAMSBURG, Va., (WVEC) -- A man was shot while hunting in Williamsburg Saturday, James City County Police PIO Stephanie Williams said.
Dispatch responded to a report around 10:18 a.m. of a person shot while hunting at a remote location off Ware Creek Road, Williams said.
Police and fire crews located a 25-year-old man and he was taken to VCU Medical Center. Williams said his condition is unknown.
The investigation has been turned over to the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.
