DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WVEC) -- Dare County Police arrested a 30-year-old for possession and intent to sell cocaine on Tuesday.

The Narcotics Task Force conducted a traffic stop on an individual suspected of bringing cocaine into Dare County.

Nags Head Police K-9 assisted in the search.

Authorities found cocaine in David Taylor McGlaughon's vehicle during the traffic stop.

McGlaughon was charged with felony obsession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver Cocaine Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance.

He is currently be held in lieu of a $100,000 security bond.
