SEATTLE – Five people were shot in downtown Seattle Wednesday night.

Seattle Fire reported two of the victims have life threatening injuries and are being transported to Harborview Medical Center. Police reported the incident at Third Avenue and Pine Street about 6:45 p.m.

Seattle Police are still looking for the shooter.

Andy Wittenberg was shopping at Walgreens when the shooting happened. He said people ran into the store saying, “Get cover, get down.”

He thought the incident was over, so he went outside and saw multiple victims with a large police presence. Wittenberg said the incident was “pretty intense.”

“I’ve lived in major cities for a while. I’ve never seen anything close to this,” Wittenberg said. “This is the worst incident I’ve ever seen.”

An anti-Trump rally blocked traffic nearby in Capitol Hill, but it is unclear if the shooting is related.
