CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- A man who said he's the uncle of a victim in the Chattanooga school bus crash said the boy has passed away.

Chattanooga Police said in a tweet Wednesday night that a sixth child had died, but did not identify the victim.

Darius Ward, whose earlier request for prayers reached tens of thousands, posted an update Wednesday night saying, "My lil soldier didn't make it. They couldn't revive him. Please keep the prayers flowing for my family and everyone else involved. I really do appreciate every single one of you who tried to reach out to me. God is still working."

A spokesperson for the bus company, Durham School Services, told WBIR-TV on Wednesday that the company will pay for the funerals of the children who died as a result of the crash.

Other victims have been identified as 6-year-old D'Myunn Brown, 6-year-old Zyaira Mateen, 9-year-olds Cordayja Jones and Zoie Nash and 10-year-old Zyanna Harris.
