HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WVEC) -- The final day of in-person absentee voting is today.

All local voter registration offices in Virginia will be open Saturday, Nov. 5. Eligible voters can apply and cast an absentee ballot all at once, according to the Virginia Department of Elections.

“Absentee voting is a great option that allows eligible Virginia voters to have their voice heard in the upcoming election even if they are unable to go to the polls on Election Day,” said Edgardo Cortes, Commissioner of Elections.
