VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are asking for the public's help identifying two people, accused of assaulting and robbing someone.

The victim was allegedly assaulted outside of the Pleasant Valley Marketplace Food Lion in the 4200 block of Pleasant Valley Rd. on Tuesday, October 25. The attack occurred around 9:15 p.m.

The victim told police that while waiting for a friend, a man and woman approached them and started to assault them.

A knife was produced during that attack, and the suspects robbed the victim.

After the robbery, the suspects fled on foot towards the Bridle Creek Apartments.

The victim sustained minor injuries, and was treated at the scene.
