Virginia Beach police are searching for a Credit Union robber

Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a Credit Union robber.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a Credit Union robber.

On Thursday around 5 p.m., the suspect entered the BayPoint Credit Union located at 5225 Providence Road.

According to police, the man demanded money from an employee, got the money and fled the scene. His getaway car was a smaller model white pickup truck that has a camper shell.

No one was injured.

Authorities described the suspect as 20 to 30 years old standing at about 5'6" to 5'9" and has a medium build.
