VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A public meeting will be held on Wednesday to discuss stormwater projects in the Princess Anne district of Virginia Beach.
Virginia Beach Public Works is hosting the event at the City's Municipal Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m..
Updates will be given about Ashville Park, Sherwood Lakes, Kingston Estates, sea level rise, and stormwater maintenance work and drainage projects throughout the district.
Staff members will give updates at the beginning of the meeting, and the participants will then be able to go to station that will be set up for these projects and ask specific questions.
The stormwater staff work to minimize flooding and protect the quality of Virginia Beach's waterways.
