The Lake Taylor Titans rallied late in 4th quarter to force overtime. They'd go on to beat John Handley 72-66 in double overtime to win the Class 4 Championship in Richmond Saturday evening. It gave the Titans their first ever boys state title in school history. They also became the first Norfolk school since Booker T. Washington (2006) to win a championship.
Dereon Seabron topped the Titans with 24 points for Lake Taylor (26-1) while Joe Bryant, Jr. chipped in 13 points to go with 8 rebounds.
