NORFOLK, Va.- Since reinstating football two years ago, its paid dividends for Norfolk Christian. Back to back playoff appearances for the Ambassadors that included a Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II title shot against Christchurch on Saturday. They didn't get the story book ending they'd hoped for as they lost to the Seahorses 43-27.

Norfolk Christian got things going on the opening kickoff with a Lamareon James 90 yard return for a 7-0 lead. After falling behind by just one, the Ambassadors answered with a Alvonte Lawton quarterback keeper from 2 yards, but Christchurch proved too much as Norfolk Christian finishes their season with a 9-2 record.
