VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Gerry Jones Jr. excels, whether he has a golf club in his hands, or a violin rested on his shoulder.

The 16-year-old is a prodigy in more fields than one, but you wouldn't know it by talking to him.

Gerry would prefer to talk about physics, his favorite subject, or sci-fi movies, molecular formation, etc. etc. He's even more likely to point out all of the people who have helped him achieve his goals, rather than talk about his own accomplishments.

Recently Gerry won a chance to play a round with Phil Mickelson at the Wells Fargo Championship Pro Am. We caught up with him to talk about his experience, his game, music, and whatever else he wanted.
