NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- Hard to believe, but Mike Tomlin will enter his 11th season as head coach, of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's feeling especially good about this upcoming season. "I'm enjoying it. We've got a good football team. We'll be in the thick of things", he says.

The Newport News native, has good reason to feel that way. His squad finished 11-5 last season and would fall just a game short of getting to the Super Bowl when they lost to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. Tomlin feels he's grown by leaps and bounds since his first season as the Steelers head coach. "Its been a natural maturation process", he says. "I'd like to feel that I'm better now than I was then."
